Yeah -  the last official BBQ of the summer and it was at Grandma and Pop-E's house. Here I am with PopPop and we have just finished eating our cereal, sweet potatoes & fruit and washed it down with some champagne and beer.
September 19, 2007
Well, September is a big birthday month for us. It is Mommy's birthday (9/16) and Daddy & Pop-E's birthday (9/19). In addition this was the big one for Daddy. That's right!
    THE BIG 30.
We had a combined celebration at Grammy and PopPop's house since it was easier for Daddy when he came home from work. Here we are with the birthday people and a picture of us waiting for Daddy to come home from work with mommy who went to pick him up at the train station
Of course, Daddy and I shared a beer - that's why I have put on a few pounds - while Christopher is more interested in his physique.

On the road again, to Woburn, MA for a baby shower for Aunt Jess (& Uncle Greg) and our future 1st cousin.
We were going up on Friday night but there was a possibility that the shower was going to be canceled because Aunt Jess was in the hospital to have some test redone.
Any way, things all worked out and Saturday morning we headed up to Woburn, a couple of hours after Grammy and PopPop headed south to the Outer Banks for a well deserved 2 weeks of rest and relaxation.
Grandma and Pop-E left about 45 minutes before us and "HOT ROD" Daddy passed them in Hartford Connecticut. He was trying to make it to Woburn before we needed to be fed. Guess what - he almost made it, he got to the Mass border, but we had enough and forced him to stop for some well deserved food and drink and to adjust our parachutes.
We arrived at Aunt Jess and Uncle Greg's house about 45 minutes after Grandma and Pop-E. All the women left for the shower and the Pack and Plays were setup for possible naps. No chance of that - what with the beer flowing, the grill cooking and the screaming at the TV by the "Men Folk" as they watched the football games.
Pop-E decided that we had heard enough and took us for a walk in the carriage. You guessed it - Sound asleep within minutes
After a while the call came in that we were to head over to Whitney (Aunt Jess's sister) and Chris's house - where the shower was being held - so that we could meet all the people there.
Of course we did not know a lot of them but we recognized Megan, Kendall & Corrine from their pictures on the "Next Generation" website. http://www.nextgeneration2004.homestead.com
We put on our best smiles and were quit adorable - even if we have to "toot" our own horn.  Megan who was born 2 months after us was crawling. We could not figure out how she was doing that at such a young age but it seemed easy once she told us the secret. We plan on surprising Mommy and Daddy when we get home.
At one point we heard this scream and saw a " FLASH" go by. When we looked again we realized that it was Whitney. It appears that Whitney does not like frogs and when she sees one she screams and runs. She went from the pool to the side door in record time - impressive.
We finally headed back to Aunt Jess and Uncle Greg's since we, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Pop-E were going to sleep there while Aunt Jess and Uncle Greg were going to stay at her parents house. Anyway, during the night, Daniel woke up, I woke up and everyone was then awake. We went back to sleep and Pop-E got up at 7am to watch the Women's World Cup match that was starting at 7:30am. Daddy was holding me upstairs trying to get me to go back to sleep (of course I wanted to play) when Pop-E called up the stairs to see if Daddy wanted him to take me so that Daddy and Mommy could get a few more winks. Daddy came out of the bedroom and I saw Pop-E at the bottom of the steps and gave him a big smile and knew that there was no way that I was going back in the Pack and Play.
We sat on the couch and watch the game for awhile and then everyone got up because it was time for Daniel and I to eat breakfast.
Aunt Jess and Uncle Greg came home to have breakfast. After everyone eat and we had out bottles, Mommy and Daddy thought it would be a good idea if we left so that we could sleep in the car and maybe get home before we had to eat again.
In no time at all we are in our car seats the engine is running," Hot Rod" Daddy gets behind the wheel and we are off. Have to admit that flying under the radar makes everything go by fast, but as usually it was not fast enough and we made him stop on route 684 for some food and drink.
We had a good time, especially when we were near Aunt Jess and could communicate with our new future 1st cousin. Oh and by the way, we know that the BABY is a ????. DO YOU!

Well, 9 months old today. Hard to believe that there is only 3 moths until our 1st Christmas and 1st Birthday.

Since Mommy had a baby shower to go to and Grammy an PopPop were still at the Outer Banks, Daddy took was over to Grandma and Pop-E's house so Pop-E could get some "official" 9 month old pictures

Here are a few of them.
October 4, 2007
Mommy and Daddy had to go some place and Grammy and PopPop were still at the Outer Banks ( we think they are getting use to all the rest and relaxation and especially sleeping through the night without Christopher waking them up), Anyway Grandma and Pop-E came over to Grammy and PopPop's house to watch us. Since Christopher had a bad cold and did not sleep top much during the night he was not in a good mood - So what does Pop-E do - puts him in the carriage and away they went while grandma and I played with all our toys. After awhile Pop-E came back to get me but Christopher woke up and started crying. I decided that maybe a bottle was better that a carriage ride and let Grandma know what I wanted. We all went inside and had something to drink and then Grandma took Christopher upstairs to try to get him to sleep again. She was holding and rocking him and he finally fell asleep. Pop-E and I were down stairs playing and I was showing him, all my "KING KONG" moves.
Mommy and Daddy final came home with big smiles on their faces - guess they were glad to see us.
Anyway Grandma and Pop-E left - Grandma to go shopping and Pop-E to go to a soccer game.

And them Mommy and Daddy told us where they were - Click here to see a new web page
September 26, 2007

Well, Daniel and I talked about the secret to crawling that Megan told us about at the baby shower and we decided that I should be the 1st to crawl. It's amazing how easy it is once you know the secret. Any way my 1st crawling took place at night so Mommy and Daddy could both see it.

October 27, 2007

Went to our 1st Halloween party at Aunt  Janice and Uncle Jimmy's house
October 29, 2007

Grammy and Mommy took us to our 1st Halloween Parade which was at the Westfield Coop Nursery School where Grandma teaches 3 year olds. We had a lot of fun watching the 4 year olds march around in their costumes and listening to the singing by the 3 and 4 year olds.

Maybe when we are 3 we will have Grandma as our 1st teacher!
October 20, 2007
We went pumpkin hunting with Mommy and Daddy and Mommy took this great  picture. Also we tried on our costumes for the party and parade we are going to go to.
Do you notice the look on Daddy's face! Every time he gets near a farm we  think he starts thinking of getting out of the "rat race" and buying the malt shop in Chesaning, Michigan
November 9, 2007

Grammy and PopPop left for Illinois  yesterday to visit his brother (Uncle Fred) and his wife (Aunt  Elaine) who live in Chesaning, Michigan but are vacationing in the Chicago area. Grandma and Pop-E were in Massachusetts on Thursday to see Jake but came home today to help Mommy with us. She needs held because both of us are crawling, standing, wanting to walk and just getting into things
Grammy and Pop-E came over and played with us and gave us snacks. Mommy and Grandma then decided to take us to Lord and Taylor before it was time for supper. We think Grandma believes that if Mommy goes to L&T enough times then see will  have a better chance of having a baby girl in February
Anyway, while Mommy and Grandma shopped for clothes fro us, Pop-E pushed us in our stroller all through the store. We met shoppers, salespeople, looked at ourselves in giant mirrors and played with stuffed animals. There were little giraffes that gave "nose" kisses, doggies that gave "cheek" kisses and a teddy bear that gave big hugs. There was also a big pig, we are not sure what he gave, but we did not want anything to do with him.
As soon as we got in the car for the 5 minute ride to Grammy and PopPop's house, Christopher passed out and I cried because I was starting to get hungry.
As we were eating Daddy called and we starting to say DADA and did a lot of babbling. Uncle Michael came over and we tried to stay awake for Daddy but we did not have the stammer and were asleep before he even made the train.
BREAKING NEWS - November 6, 2007

Our Aunt Jess and Uncle Greg had a son and we have a new cousin, JAKE. He weighted in at 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 22 inches long. Do you know that it took us from December 30, 2006 to March 3, 2007 before we made that weight (Christopher 8/7, Daniel 8/14) and length (Christopher 21.5, Daniel 21.5).  Jake is also going to start writing his Chronicles, so get ready
November 11, 2007

Mommy was going to be God Mother for her Maid of Honor Laura and her husband Billy's baby, Katherine. So Grandma and Pop-E came over to help Daddy take care of us while Mommy went to the Church for the Christening.
We went over to our new house so that Grandma could see it again and while we were there grandma's friend Linda came over to see us and the house.
We like our new house especially the fans, the rugs in our rooms, the big soft chair and especially the stairs which I love to climb. I also like the hardwood floors because I can crawl as fast as a "hot rod" on them.
We finally went back to Grammy and PopPop's house, had a drink, Mommy came home and we left for the Christening party in Rod's Road House in Madison - I wonder if he is also a "HOT" rod.
Breaking News - October 11, 2007 Daniel Starts Crawling

Here is an e-mail Daddy sent to POP-E the other day

"Daniel is good .. he's got his routine - seems he's getting frustrated by not
being able to crawl .. all he wants to do is have someone walk him around ..
he could go all day and all night .....he's been staring at Christopher more
and more as Christopher crawls by him.. he just stares at him"

Daniel always knew how to crawl but decided eating, sleeping and walking were more his thing. However, he started to think that Daddy was worried that he was not crawling so he started today. Now Mommy now has to chase both of us around the house.
December 5, 2007

Well here we are into December and looking forward to our 1st Christmas and our 1st Birthday. Hard to believe that a year has almost passed since we 1st saw Mommy and Daddy.  We went to Aunt Marilyn's for Thanksgiving and we got to eat TURKEY and other goodies.
Mommy and Daddy went to Woburn on Saturday, December 1st,  to see Aunt Jess, Uncle Greg and of course JAKE. We did not go because Mommy and Daddy needed a day off from taking care of us. Grammy and PopPop watched us until they came home on Sunday. Even though we thought we were good, Grammy and PopPop left for Arizona on Wednesday for some well need R & R - just kidding!. They were going to see Aunt Charisse, Uncle David and their 1st Grandchild Madilyn.
The rest of the month should be exciting - Christmas presents, Birthday presents (we will be professional present openers by the end of the year), seeing Jake - but all of that will be in the next update
We wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and here is our Christmas Card in case we missed you on the list.
December 30, 2007
ONE YEAR OLD - Can you believe it - Where did the time go - It seems like only yesterday that we could not even turn over - now we crawl and walk and laugh and do a lot of other things.
We celebrated our 1st Birthday at  Grandma and Pop-E's along with Grammy, POP-E, Uncle Scott and Uncle Michael.
Everyone sang Happy Birthday in English and some also sang it in Polish. Mommy made us a Chocolate Cake and Daddy made an Angle Food Cake.

And of course there were more presents!
December 22, 2007

The Celebration of the Christmas Season begins. Aunt Jess, Uncle Greg and Jake are coming to Grandma and Pop-E's house today and we are going over with Uncle Scott to celebrate Christmas. We we all glad to see each other especially Jake and the two of us  since this was our 1st in the "flesh" meeting. Jake was telling us about his Daddy (Uncle Greg) talking about "the Family Christmas Picture" and we told him that our Daddy was also talking about the same thing. The 3 of us decided that it something that we will be told about when we get older!
We opened a lot of presents and Daniel and I played music on a music table Grandma and Pop-E gave us. We also played some different sounds on a box that Daddy's presents came in. We knew that Daddy sang in the High School and College Choir/Glee Clubs but did not know he could also play a musical instrument. Well maybe not an instrument but he made sweet sounds from an empty beer bottle. We wonder if leaned that at Fairfield University, Boston or Hoboken.
And, of course Daddy and Uncle Greg's wish came true and we took a   family picture. Maybe Uncle Scott will tells us what it is all about!
December 24, 2007

Well, we are off to our "1st Official Italian "7 Fish" Christmas Eve Dinner" at Maria, Rob, Bobby and Caroline's house in Garden City, NY. Of course a lot of other relatives will be there and we would also guess "tons" of presents.

Here are the relatives that were there -
Of course Mommy, Daddy, Maria, Rob, Bobby and Caroline. Then Grandma, Pop-E, Aunt Mackey, Uncle Dom, Mrs Alfieri, Uncle Scott, and Cousins Lisa, Chris, Colby and Angela.  This was also the 1st time for Cousins, Cheryl, Eugene, Catherine, Elizabeth and Christine. Based on what we heard they are going to try to convince the rest of us that they should be invited next year.

From what we saw, the "7 Fishes" are now down to "5" - we wonder what happened to the other 2.

Of course we were at our best, with Christmas and Santa coming in a few days. We had a great time and then the "witching" hour arrived and all we wanted to do was get back to Fanwood for some much needed sleep .
December 25, 2007

Ah. Christmas Day - the biggest present day of the year - not that we did not get a lot of presents on December 22nd and the 24th - but this is the "DAY" when Santa Clause deliveries all the things we asked for. That's right we forgot to tell you about our visit to Santa and telling him what we wanted - a drum and tunnel - and you know what, he gave them to us - we must really have been good this year.
Of course "silly" Daddy had to try to get through the tunnel - big mistake - he got stuck. Here is our 1st "Official" Christmas Day Family picture - Uncle Michael was a stand in for our new baby brother Luke!
We will have to buy Mommy a "RED" shirt for next year - Hear that Daddy!
December 31, 2007
We remember our 1st New Years Eve, when we spend it in the ICU unit at Morristown Hospital because Daniel needed extra care. Well this year it was just the four of us and three of us could not make it to Midnight.
It's been a wonderful year and we are looking forward to 2008 when we will be Moving into Our New House and Playing with Our NEW BROTHER LUKE.

From All Our Family We Wish you a
GREAT AND HAPPY 2008
